Mobile Blood Draws in Pahrump

Pahrump doesn’t have the mobile-phlebotomy options a big city does. We travel out to the Pahrump Valley by arrangement, so residents here can have a certified phlebotomist come to the house instead of driving over the mountain for a blood draw.

Who we serve in Pahrump

Pahrump is a spread-out, largely rural community in Nye County with a notably older population — retirees, ranch and desert-property residents, and a lot of neighbors for whom a long drive is a real burden. We come to homes across the Pahrump Valley, from the town center out to the more remote properties, as well as to family caregivers looking after an aging parent. If you have a valid lab order and getting to a collection site is hard, this is exactly who mobile collection is built for.

Why a mobile draw matters here

Pahrump sits roughly 60 miles west of Las Vegas across Nevada State Route 160 and the Spring Mountains. For many specialty and send-out collections, the nearest well-equipped patient service centers are back in Las Vegas and Summerlin — an hour-plus each way for residents who may not drive at night, in bad weather, or over the pass at all. That distance is the whole reason lab orders go unfilled out here. Bringing the collection to the patient removes the drive entirely: no mountain pass, no waiting room, no lost day.

What the visit looks like

Once your visit is scheduled, a certified phlebotomist drives out to your Pahrump address at the arranged time, confirms your identity and your lab order, and performs the collection in the comfort of your home. We label everything at your side, package the specimen properly for the trip back, and deliver it to your ordering provider’s partner laboratory in the valley for testing. You get a calm, unhurried draw and never leave your living room.

Scheduling & travel fee

Because Pahrump is about 60 miles each way, we serve it on a scheduled, by-arrangement basis — please call for availability rather than booking a same-day one-off online. A travel fee starting at $65 applies to Pahrump visits, in addition to the service rate for your draw (for example, $50 for a standard venipuncture plus the travel fee). When you call, we’ll confirm the total up front and find a date that works — and if you’re coordinating with neighbors or family who also need draws, let us know, since grouping visits makes the trip more practical for everyone.
